Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Recode Collective (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or services, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
We act as the data controller for the information described below. If you have any questions, you can reach us at hello@recodecollective.co.
The information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, or that is needed to run the website securely:
- Contact & enquiry details — your name, email address, and the contents of any message you send through our contact form.
- Booking information — when you book a clarity call or session, the name, email, phone number (optional), and any context you share about what you would like support with.
- Mailing list details — your email address, and first name if you provide it, when you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Technical information — basic data such as your IP address and browser type, used only to keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse.
Some of what you choose to share with us — for example, what you would like support with — may be sensitive or personal in nature. We treat it with care and confidentiality, and only use it to support you.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry and stay in touch about it;
- arrange, confirm, and deliver any session or event you book;
- send you newsletter updates and reflections, only if you have subscribed;
- keep the website secure and functioning properly.
We never sell your personal data, and we never share it for advertising.
Legal basis for using your data
Where UK and EU data protection law applies, we rely on the following bases:
- Consent — for sending you marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Performance of a contract — to deliver a session, call, or event you have requested.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and to keep our website safe and secure.
The services that help us run Recode Collective
We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the website and communicate with you. They only process your data on our behalf and under their own data protection commitments. These may include an email delivery provider (to send confirmations and newsletters), a scheduling tool (to manage bookings), and a secure payment provider (only if you purchase a paid session or event). We do not store full card details — payments are handled directly by the payment provider.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Enquiry and booking records are kept while you are an active or recent client; newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your data where there is no legal reason to keep it;
- withdraw your consent to marketing at any time;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your data.
To exercise any of these, email us at hello@recodecollective.co. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
Cookies
Our website uses only the essential cookies needed for it to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add optional analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first.
Keeping your data safe
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure connections (HTTPS) and limiting access to your data to those who need it.
A note on wellbeing
Recode Collective offers Rapid Transformational Therapy, coaching, and community experiences. These are educational and reflective practices and are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. Anything you share with us in this context is treated as confidential.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
